Meet Dr. Rella

Dr. Anthony Rella

Dr. Anthony Rella was born and raised in Cherokee County, Georgia. He graduated from Sequoyah high school in Hickory Flat, Georgia in 2005, and from there went on to obtain his undergraduate degree from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry. Dr. Rella. In 2017, Dr. Rella received his D.M.D. Degree from the Dental College of Georgia. During that time, Dr. Rella received both the Emile T. Fisher and Hinman Scholar awards for academic excellence. Upon Graduating from dental school, Dr. Rella completed a one year post graduate program at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, New York, earning a General Practice Residency Certificate.

Dr. Rella practices with an emphasis on general dentistry and endeavors to meet all the needs of his patients or coordinate referral care when necessary. Dr. Rella especially enjoys seeing emergency patients who are in discomfort and helping them to resolve their dental emergencies and eliminate their pain and dental infections.

Dr. Rella completed the American Academy of Implantology MaxiCourse at his former dental school in Augusta, Georgia in 2022. During that time Dr. Rella was blessed to meet, befriend, and attend the course with Dr. Mike Stanley. In addition to completing that continuum of education, Dr. Rella has also completed the Dawson Academy Mini-Residency in the Spring of 2024, which focuses on full-mouth rehabilitation and smile design. He joined Timber Ridge Dental Team in April of 2024. In his free time, Dr. Rella loves to have fun and spend time with his family and friends. Dr. Rella especially loves the outdoors, including building campfires, hiking and kayaking. Currently, Dr. Rella is endeavoring to visit and hike all of the State Parks in Georgia, taking his wonderful German Shepherd dog, Jethro, when possible. He is an avid music lover, plays guitar, and sings when he thinks no one is listening.
