I started to go to Timber Ridge since last fall, and so far I have a great experience with the dentist, the hygienist, and the front desk ladies.

Upon my first visit, the dentist was able to diagnose a relatively subtle infection at the root of my front tooth, something my previous dentist whom I have gone to for years never noticed. He told me it was a slow infection in the root of the tooth, and it's been going on for YEARS. It was not very noticeable on the X ray, but when he looked at my gum, he saw a small white spot, and he was able to diagnose me with a tooth infection. Thanks to his great observation, I was able to get the timely treatment I needed. I forgot his name (not Stanley, but my husband told me Stanley was great to him), he has beard and looked like in his 40s. Due to the lack of insurance coverage, I couldn't afford to get it treated at the time. Instead I had my root canal done with a much more affordable price when I visited China last October. Even though I didn't get my root canal here, I still appreciate him so much in diagnosing my infection upon my first visit. I was there last week, they did an X ray to look at the tooth. He told me everything looks well, and I can choose to have a crown later if I like. His attitude was great, very understanding, not getting upset because I had my root canal done in China instead of there. I appreciate his professionalism and understanding. This practice have 3 dentists now at this office because they have grown so much.

The hygienist Tammy is the best hygienist I have had, she is very gentle and she does very thorough cleaning every time. She would try to improvise upon my condition to polish my teeth first because I have a lot of stain from drinking coffee and tea everyday. My teeth looks great after each cleaning. She's also a kind and nice person to talk to. Her hands are small and gentle, every time have been a great experience with her. This practice is great to not trying to upsell some deep gum cleaning services like some corporate dental offices do. I used to go to another practice years ago who would try to charge me $200-$500 for each cleaning because they think I need the deep gum cleaning for the rest of my life.

The front desk lady is also great, I changed my dental insurance this year, and there were some hiccups with the insurance company, but she was very patient to navigate through the process. She had even stepped out of the way to stay on the phone with my orthodontic office to help them with finding the insurance benefit information. I just felt I was really cared for at this practice. I had a terrible experience with my former dentist office, mostly with their front desk lady, she basically drove my husband and I out of their business with her terrible attitude. I have realized how important a practice have a great staff in the front, and I truly appreciate all the staff they have at Timber Ridge, and appreciate being treated with respect and care throughout the whole process.
